Welcome to the Blessed John National Seminary Library
As a department within the seminary, our principal mission
is to support the academic needs of the seminary community
The library, hub of the academic life of the seminary, houses over 63,000 volumes in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment. Study and research is aided by a significant reference collection of over 3,000 volumes as well as the assistance of two professional librarians. In addition to the physical collection, access to the most important database tools in the field of religion are available electronically. A collection of over 260 journal titles keeps the student abreast of the latest in theology, biblical studies, church history, and related areas of study. High-speed internet access is available throughout the library, along with access to the seminary's internal computer network. In addition, a Computer Center is available for student use with six networked computers and a networked printer.
The Library’s Web Site is available to students which will help them locate items in the library catalog, keep informed of happenings within the library, provide book reviews of the latest additions to the library, provide links to many excellent web sites for your research, as well as access to valuable databases for seminarians, faculty, and staff.
